Galen’s staff has extensive experience in the management of construction projects. We have worked with San Francisco Public Utility Commission on some of their programs and specific projects for the last 9 years. Additionally, we have worked with other Public Works Agencies such as: US Army Corp of Engineers, LA County Sanitation, LA County Flood Control, Caltrans, Riverside County Flood Control, City of San Diego, City of Long Beach, City of Oakland, City of Ontario, City of Palm Springs, City of Palm Desert, City of Brawley, City of Calexico, City of Glendale AZ, City of Phoenix AZ, and several others.
Construction Management
Mr. Martinez began his construction experience in the early 90’s as a carpenter building and placing concrete on small to medium structures. He was also a pipe-layer, and grade-checker. We have high regards for the construction worker and believe that Field Experience provides an insight that allows us to analyze and provide quick resolutions to most RFI’s, Change Orders, Claims, Schedules, Submittals, and Value Engineering Proposals.
We understand Earned Value and all our clients receive a monthly Earned Value Construction Report. Through these reports, we can implement early steps to mitigate construction over-runs, or late completions.
Inspection
Our inspectors will work and guide the contractor so that the end-product meets or exceeds the quality expected on the Plans and Specifications. We have the experience and will demand that work be done in a safe manner for both the contractor and public. We believe in working along with the public by keeping them informed and responding to public questions or concerns.
Scheduling
We have experience with both MS Project and Primavera P6. We can analyze the contractor’s baseline and monthly updates, or we can assist contractors with this work.
